Today, the President of Anjuman-e-Islam Hubli, A. M. Hindasgeri, along with all the members of Anjuman-e-Islam, submitted an application to Hubballi-Dharwad Police Commissioner N. Shashikumar, IPS, regarding the upcoming Eid Milad-un-Nabi celebrations on 26 August 2026.In the application, Anjuman-e-Islam requested that no permission should be given for DJ systems in any mohalla or locality during the Eid Milad celebrations.Anjuman-e-Islam has clearly stated that they are completely against the use of DJs and appealed to the Police Department not to grant DJ permission to anyone.The organization requested that Eid Milad-un-Nabi should be celebrated peacefully, respectfully and with proper discipline, without the use of DJs.This initiative by Anjuman-e-Islam Hubli is being seen as a positive step towards maintaining peace and discipline during the celebrations.
