Hubballi: A minor accident involving two KSRTC buses near Sayyad Fateh Shah Dargah, opposite Chatni Complex in Hubballi, left passengers shaken but unharmed on Wednesday.
The incident involved a KSRTC bus bearing registration number KA 27 F 0726.
Witnesses say the KA 27 F 0726 driver was driving harshly and failed to slow down in time, causing the bus to ram into another KSRTC bus moving ahead of it.
On impact, the front windshield of the rear bus and the rear glass of the bus in front shattered into tiny pieces and fell onto the road.
Fortunately, there were no injuries to the driver or any of the passengers in either bus.
However, several passengers were visibly shocked and disturbed by the sudden jolt and the sound of breaking glass.
Traffic was briefly affected at the spot as broken glass was cleared from the road and the buses were moved to the side.
Officials are expected to examine whether rash or negligent driving led to the incident and if any departmental action is needed against the driver.
