Day: Monday – Location: Hubballi, Karnataka Reported by: Mohammad Sadiq Savanur | HDMC NEWSA protest broke out on Monday near Hazrat Sayed Fatesha Dargah, close to Indi Pump on Karwar Road in Hubballi, after Congress MLA Prasad Abbayya was not included in Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar’s newly expanded Karnataka Cabinet.According to police, a group of supporters allegedly blocked the road by burning tyres. During the protest, stones were reportedly thrown at a KSRTC bus travelling from Karwar, causing damage to the vehicle.Hubballi-Dharwad Police Commissioner N. Shashikumar visited the spot and reviewed the situation.
