Hubli Peace Meeting Ahead of Eid Milad 2026Date: 24 August 2026Location: Hubli, KarnatakaA peace meeting was held today at Anjuman-e-Islam Rayal Function Hall, Bankapur Chowk, Hubli, under the direction of the Hubli-Dharwad Police Commissioner.The meeting was attended by the President and team of Anjuman-e-Islam Hubli, along with Mutawallis and prominent citizens from around 18 Mohallas of Hubli city.The main agenda of the meeting was the upcoming Eid Milad-un-Nabi festival on 26 August 2026. Hubli-Dharwad DCP Shurti N.S. appealed to everyone to celebrate Eid Milad peacefully and ensure that no inconvenience is caused to the public.The police also made it clear that DJ systems will not be permitted during the celebrations, and permission will not be granted for DJ use. Citizens were requested to cooperate fully with the police and follow all rules and guidelines to maintain peace and harmony in Hubli.The meeting focused on maintaining communal harmony, public safety and peaceful Eid Milad celebrations across Hubli city.
