Burse IPS has clarified an incident that took place during a Ganesh procession in Maratha Galli and near Medar Oni in Hubli.According to the Police Commissioner, during the procession, some boys were allegedly involved in harassing girls and creating a disturbance.Town Police Station Inspector Mushtaq Shaikh and other police personnel reportedly tried to counsel and warn the youths and asked them to maintain discipline.However, when they allegedly did not cooperate, the police were forced to use a brief lathi-charge for around 30 seconds to control the situation.Commissioner Bhusan G.
